I teach in several different Zen organizations. My formal Zen teaching is done through the International Zen Dojo of Wisconsin. The organization is part of Daihonzan Chozen-ji, a headquarters temple of Rinzai Zen Buddhism. Our more public-oriented outreach is done through the Institute for Zen Leadership.

One element of my own ongoing Zen training is the practice of shodo, a Japanese word that can be roughly translated as Zen calligraphy. Examples of my work and descriptions of the meaning and practice of shodo are shown at zencalligraphy.org.
